I'm really digging "A Good Life"..Been listening to it the past few days. It's hard to say if it's Joe's best work...there are so many great CD's to choose from. I'll continue to let it grow on me. As for the cover...it sure looks alot like Leechburg, along the Allegheny.

I've seen the Houserockers many, many times...Sunday's show was the best one yet!! Thanks boys!

Hypnotized would have been cool too. It's gotta be tough coming up with a setlist with so many songs to choose from. That's a helluva catalogue for Danny to learn! The only disappointing thing from Sunday was when that guy introduced the band. You could barely understand him.....who the hell was that? And what happened to Biddle's version of Bill Graham???

I agree with HR Fan...following Sunday's gig at Biddle, I asked Joe about playing "Turn it Up"..and he told me I should've said something earlier....he would've played it. So many great songs...not enough hours in an evening..

HR Fan
One of the toughest things about being a Houserocker fan is, at every show...there are so many great songs that don't get played....often enough.
"Ain't going Down"....Once Chance...Turn It Up...Unsafe at Any Speed...Swimming with the Sharks...Memphis Queen...the list can go on and on. Joe's catalog of music is so extensive anymore....it would take an 8 hour concert to hear everything that may be requested.

Joe,
What can I say about you and the HRs? You guys just rock, rock, rock, rock and rock. Thank you for the opportunity to play on the same bill. It's a priviledge and a pleasure. Thanks also for the kind words.
And Joffo, thanks again for the use of your kit.

Right On Zeke!

I made the mistake of listening to "Father & Son" in the middle of a Lego-project with my two younger sons. I was sobbing by the last verse.

Now my kids keep jagging me, saying. . . . . "lets play that song that made daddy cry!"

It truly is like nothing that has been written in the past 20 years!

A huge request to Joe and guys.

Please don't ever perform father and son when I am in attendence. Especially if my boys are there and I've had a couple of drinks.

That song is so naked, so raw. I was misting up at the beginning then the last verse just floored me.

This is true pure art. Rarely do we see an artist put him or herself out there as this naked to the whole world. Think John Lennon, Richard Pryor, Lenny Bruce, Bob Dylan.

I may never listen to the song again - that's how good it is. At least not in public and NEVER driving down Murray avenue again.
