Request for "Dark and Bloody Ground" at WYEP today, December 12, in memory of the Sago miners whose last act of comradery was to establish a place underground to die together--consider the photo on the front page of the Post Gazette of their underground shelter. I would like to know if the station honored my request to commemorate those departed men.

Since the holiday season is in full gear, I have uploaded a rare live version of "Labour Of Love" featuring Bruce Springsteen on Joe's Myspace. It's taken from the UK single of Labour Of Love (Live). It was released in 1996 and is a hard to find track. I have made the track available to download for a short time, so be sure to get it while it's still up!

I was hoping that someone here might be able to help us out. I am looking for ANY video footage of the ICHRs. Thanks to Mulk there is plenty of footage of the band from the last 20 years but I need some older stuff. If any of you can help out please e mail me at:

Even if it's a short clip that you might think won't work...it will. I could also use still photos of that era as well.

i second that, it truly is a good life when you see joey g. play two acoustic sets in one weekend. the game plan is to see joe and the hr's after the seger show next thursday, than joe comes to the party capital of the world - struthers, ohio friday and than a road trip to carhops next saturday. if the weather, the day job, and my sanity all cooperate, i will have seen the good dr. grushecky five times in eight days.....a good life thus far.

Borders Weekend – Round 2 – Monroeville
Another great acoustic set by Joe at Borders in Monroeville this afternoon. As usual, the master storyteller and musician had us laughing, reflecting, tapping our feet, and believing that it is indeed “a good life”. My dad was all misted-up during The Biddle Mine!

Car Hops is a great place for Music. Good Food and great people. Go through the Liberty Tunnels on 19 and it's about 1 mile on the right.
