I thought Prince was excellent - as usual - he is truly one of the greatest artists of our time. I just wish he would have played 2-3 full, complete "Prince" songs rather than the medley crap. I hate when big stars do medleys just to connect with everyone in the crowd.
Overall though - a great performance!

I second that Gina.. he was top notch.. and in the pouring rain .. I have always been a Prince fan..but I did want to hear him do Kiss.. ya know brings back all those Clark show memories..

Prince ROCKED the house. If you've never seen him live you tend to not notice what an excellent guitarist he truly is. What an extremely hard gig to play but he did it his way imo. A great mix of tunes so even some folks that didn't know Prince would know Proud Mary. What an improvement over last years embarrasing performance by the Rolling Stones.
Changing gears here but I feel that anyone who does not use the same name time and time again should be pulled from the message board. If you are not man enough to post your name keep your thoughts to yourself.

Speaking of Wammer Jammer.. I had the pleasure of seeing Magic Dick at the Rex on Friday night and we got to hear the song live from the man himself.. what a riot..and no Marc R. sightings.. and a great blues show too I might add.
