The trailer for the documentary is awesome (with End of the Century running though it), as is the video for A Good Life. I would love to hear 'The Other Shoe' Saturday in Philadelphia. TIA

And by the way, Foo Fighters suck, Prince is a mediocre Vegas act (oh the irony), and since I haven't mentioned it in a while.....George Bush is the devil and without question the worst "leader" this country has seen in ages.

Granted, the Stones aren't what they once were. Neither are the Who, Led Zeppelin, Tom Petty, U2 or Springsteen. The Stones won't ever write another Exile on Main Street, but Springsteen's never putting out another Born to Run either. The Stones still have some great nights....Cleveland Licks 03, Pittsburgh No Security '99, and PNC Park 2005. Yeah, there were some subpar shows thrown in, but with any rock and roll band, you'll have that.

Blue Oyster Cult is the best American band out there and they are still playing. I was hooked ever since I first heard them back in 76. http://youtube.com/watch?v=5V7KPZtcOVQ

You're all correct in stating that the Stones are no longer what they once were and their shows are obscenely overpriced (like so many others these days). We missed the last tour, but have seen them 4 times starting back in '89 for the Steel Wheels tour. Our favorite performance was in '97 at The Shoe (Ohio State Stadium) during the Bridges to Babylon tour. It seems that subsequent shows, even though they were in arenas as opposed to massive stadiums, just haven't measured up. I will conclude this topic by just restating that I'd still take a so-so performance by the Stones over most of today's "popular" artists. Let's face it, they're not going to be around much longer, so I'll just enjoy them while I can. Besides, not everybody gets better with age (like a certain Pittsburgh rocker we all know)! By the way, Hank, we couldn't agree with you more regarding the H.O.B. in Cleveland. We've seen several shows there since it opened and it's always been a great time!

My buddy Mark showed me a clip of the stones PNC show, and I was shocked at how poorly Ron Wood played. It was like he didnt know what he was doing, not what I expected from a guy in the biggest rock band of all time.
