I thought the grammys were awesome. Mary J. Blige would have been a star in any era.
Justin Timberlake is a HUGE star despite not playing my favorite kind of music is talented and I don't mind him being successful.
God Bless the Dixie Chicks. I do think Natalie nailed the freedom of choice thing, but so what.
I can't wait for the Police tour. they broke up when I was 13 so I never got to see them.
Now I can another year without listening to "popular" music.
Alejandro Escoveda is coming to Pittsburgh - hooray!
If you're taking requests for Friday, how about Close Enough, I'm Not Sleeping, Count on You, or Unsafe at Any Speed? :)

Well Joe, I was disappointed that Donald Fagen and Bruce were nothing more than blurbs across the bottom of the screen. Michael Brecker won, too but you never hear of those wins.
Corrine Rae Baily sounded great with John Mayer. The Police sounded like the Police..I guess the money is running out...although I've always been a police fan. Red Hot Chili Peppers sounded good..all in all I didn't think anyone was really on fire. Kinda subdued don't you think.
Hey, how about on Friday at The Hard Rock you and I do When the Crows Go Crazy and All I Want From You acoustically? I thought those and Blood on the Bricks were the three strongest songs of the night. How about the crowd reaction to All I Want? They were hanging on every word and note. Great job, Joe!
Looking forward the HR's at the Hard Rock Cafe Friday. I was telling Joe on the way to Philly that I look forward to every gig with these guys.

To quote C.Ganka ... Philly did get lucky on Saturday night! Thanks Joe and Danny for a great night of music. Great crowd and a captive audience expecially when you sang "Thats all I want from you" ... I think I heard a pin drop. Danny great job and it was nice meeting you. Hope the 'City of Brotherly Love' is on the list to play again soon.

I can't seem to get A Good Life outta my head...the CD is either playing in the car or on my mp3 player. I haven't listened to anything else for a week. This is one of those truly great instant classics...
The Title Track - Every rock and country station in America should be jamming this one. I bet this could chart on country radio...chart high.
Safe At Home - Wow! I am always amazed by Joe's ability to continue honing his always fantastic songwriting. And musically...it just blows me away.
Lake Pontchartrain - Searing and scathing....not only musically but lyrically. Probably my favorite track, this is some pretty serious rock and roll.
Beauty Fades - I've never heard it expressed in finer form. Beauty fades, true, but the beauty of this songs lingers long after the last note. Joe....why ya gotta make a Jersey tough guy cry, huh?
Father and Son - ditto.
Those are just my favorites on an incredibly solid album. Just wanted to rave about it publically a little.

Thanks to Jannie, JoJo, Katherine, Jim and Nancy, Frank, Mike, Lynn and all those whose names I forget (forgive me)for coming out to support us. It was a great receptive and almost capacity crowd in a bustling Downtown Central Philly. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Great road trip. It was so much fun to meet Joe's college buddies (and we got some good ammo from them!). So wonderful to see Bob B. who looks like a million bucks. Can't wait for our next road trip. Next time, we'll bring Jojo's sister, the PSFS!
