Thanks, Mark. I'll get that one, too. Sounds like I'll be getting them all, for that matter. LOL

I was raised on rock and roll in the 60's and have always loved it, along with r&b; and country, of course. A lot or country today (Brooks & Dunn and some Brad Paisley) rocks out pretty good, at least for my tastes.

Big Bob..Do yourself a favor and go pick up End of the Century, perhaps Joe's GREATEST, yet most underrated record. Top to bottom it's loaded with great songs, and the band is tight and locked in. No Man's Land, Talking to the King, Bad Dream, Heart is Lonely Hunter, and Don't Give up The Ghost are standouts. Why this record doesn't get more attention is beyond me.

Thanks, Jimmy. As soon as it's back in stock, I'll order one.

Oh, curious one. WYEP periodically puts out compilations from their "live in studio" performances.

Vol. 8 is hot off the presses, in fact they will have it's cd release party on Friday at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts(Shadyside) 7pm Good Brother Earl and Jess Klein will be providing free entertainment. They also have FREE beer and snack food...at least they did last year.

Good luck with that one, Big Bob...Joe has way too many great songs to pick out one...However, I recommend American Babylon as your next purchase. It is loaded with great songs, including "Never Be Enough Time"...an American Rock Anthem.

Question for Zeke or anyone else who would like to jump in. After visiting this site, I'm a Joe Grushecky fan. I just bought his latest CD, "A Good Life," and am anxiously awaiting delivery. My question: which of Joe's songs are, say, the top 5-10 crowd favorites? This will help me decide which CD to buy next. Thanks, guys.

P.S. I've from Jersey, so make all the southern jokes you want. LOL :)

Speaking of Marc Reissman, is he still with the band? Anyone?

I heard Pumpin Iron on WYEP the other day, too. I got the impression it was from live broadcasts recorded at the radio station. Not sure about that. Marc Reisman was mentioned as playing on the track. I think it was just Marc and Joe playing acoustic. Sounded great!

WYEP played Pumping Iron the other day, and it was listed under the CD Live & Direct, Vol 8. I've never heard of this HR CD. Does the CD even exist?
