Good morning Houserocker Nation,
You know, it is still not be late to book those flights to Las Vegas. You need to check out all flights on Expedia and Priceline, call up your relative who who works for the airlines, or just be like me and "BITCH" until you get the the price you want. This is going to be a weekend of epic proportions. Everybody out here is talking about all the celebrities that were at the De La Hoya Fight last night but that was only the appetizer. Next week we will be seeing all the Burgh celebs- the ones that really matter. Come one and come all-Zeke, Keith K, Mark, Dave, Jeff and Karen,Gena and newest and most frequent guest Big Bob. Even those bloggers from outside Western Pennsylvania, where else are you going to get a bigger Houserocker fix than three shows in a row "PLUGGED IN." Oh yeah, did I forget anyone else, Keith and Danny Harrison, my two brothers-also huge Houserocker fans. Hey bros, lets see if you have any spark left in the tank - or are you just going to play the "Dad Card" as your excuse? Grandma Harrison lives next door ,drop the kids off with her.
For the Houserocker nation that has a legitimate excuse, Matty B. will be at all three shows filling you in on set lists, digital pics and latest news.
See you all on Thursday,
LV(I'm 36 but I've got long way to go)
MattyB

P.S.- Requests: Well the set lists look great, just play "Homestead", my all time favorite Houserocker tune and I will be happy!

I'd love to hear Joe's version of "Positively 4th Street." THAT would be awesome, I'd wager.

Re: Jeff & Karen. I'm certain you appreciate Joe's version of "Like a Rolling Stone", however, IMHO, cover songs never match up to the original.
4 May 2007 - Dark Side of the Moon

Mark
Joe and the band also did a great version of "Seven Days." Really good.

Jeff&Karen;
Speaking of Dylan, I remember Joe doing an awesome cover of Like A Rolling Stone (better than Dylan?) and since we've been throwing out all these requests for Saturday night...

Keith: I would say that those school kids got it right. I'm not putting down Dylan, here. I'm just picturing it from their point of view, yeah, he's a weird and scary guy.

Geez - Talk about a "generation gap". I consider Dylan to be as clsoe to a "god" as they come - what the hell is wrong with these kids!

Anyway - thought folks would enjoy this article from Stuff.co.nz (Friday, 04 May 2007)

"Bob Dylan reportedly scared the children at his grandson's kindergarten after treating the class to a live show.

The legendary musician has allegedly been dubbed the "weird man" by children in the class, in the Los Angeles suburb of Calabas, where his son Jakob Dylan's child attends.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: "The kids have been coming home and telling their parents about the weird man who keeps coming to class to sing scary songs on his guitar.

"He's been visiting the school just for fun, but the kids don't appreciate they are in the presence of a musical legend.

"They just think of him as the weird guitar guy."

Dylan is currently touring Europe on his Never Ending Tour."
