Seeing Joey G perform Elvis and Cash covers along with all the classic originals in Vegas would be the ultimate. In the absence of a recent crime spree, I would have been there. Very envious of you Matty - represent the 'Burgh and, more specifically, Shaler. VIVA LAS VEGAS & JOE GRUSHECKY!!!

Joe. Have fun tonight. I'm sure Jr's Bar is in the set. Also. we're actually doing a show this summer WITH Donnie Iris. I'm not sure the exact date. Maybe you can make it back to the 'burgh to see your two favorite artists togther on the same bill.

I picked up the recent issue of Alternative Press to find an article about Ian Hunter in the "Ask That Guy Section" The article talks about Ian Hunter and one of the columns in the magazine says this "Why Your Parents Like Him: Your rents weren't that cool-they probably sucked face to Barry Manilow's cover of Hunter's "Ships" before discovering the real thing. But if they smoked a lot of cigs and drank cheap beer while blasting records by Springsteen and the IRON CITY HOUSEROCKERS, they know the greatness of Hunter, Consider yourself lucky" - Jason Pettigrew If youre interested in picking up a copy go to your local Borders or Barns and Noble and pick up the June 2007 issue of Alternative Press magazine with The Academy Is... on the cover (for those who care this magazine is like my rolling stone magzine)

Thanks for the reply, I grew up in the burg and loved the ICHR's . I know mostly the older stuff like my all time favorite Junior's Bar. I know mostly from the first 4 albums. I return every year to Pittsburgh to see Donnie Iris and he is also one of my favorites. As it happens, I've been in Vegas for 23 years and just happen to work out of Harrah's !! I just got the e-mail today that Joe was playing tonight ! I was just wondering if he still plays any of the old stuff. I'm very excited to see him play ! I'm hoping to run into him in the casino this weekend ! Have a great day, as I will rocking tonight !

Hi Joe. What are you looking for as far as current playlists? Joe and the HR's tend to mix it up a lot. Sure, we have our staples that seem to be in there every night but we have fun pulling out great songs that we haven't played in awhile. Setlists are almost always posted on this site a day or two after every gig. Hope this helps. Jimmy. Vegas is a good place go this weekend if you're looking to get outta town while GW is near by.
