I have Bad News, and Good News. The bad news is that my schedule changed and I am unable to use the tickets for the Houserocker's gig at Seven Springs on Thursday. The Good News is that anyone that's interested in purchasing them can email me and we'll work something out. They are in Section A; Row A; Seats 5 & 6.

Hey, I hear that guy that filled Heinz field last night, that Country Dude, Kenny Chesney was at the show on Thursday, but he didn't get invited up on the stage! Last night in McKeesport was great. Somewhat of a cast of characters in the audience, but the music sounded really good. Maria Maria has the setlist and will post later- You do Johnny Cash proud, guys! Happy travels to our Spanish friends as they leave for the Jersey shore today! Come out and see the new mall and catch Joe at Borders tonite at 6:00 pm.

Wonderful lively show in Ohio last night. Joe, keep up that dancing!
Finally on Thursday I got to see Joe at Bruce's show - instead of Bruce crashing a Houserocker show LOL. That intro was "I'd like to bring out now ladies and gentleman, the master of disaster here in Pittsburgh, homeboy #1, my compadre, my amigo, come on out Joe!"

I didn't see your post as negative at all Gena. I was actually quite interested in what you had to say. Thanks for posting it.

Someone mentioned to me that my recent post was negative...it truly was not meant to be. Joe was great as usual and it's always a treat to see him up on the 'big stage' where he belongs. Whether you agree or disagree with someone, we all have a right to our own opinions.
I'll go back to keeping out of trouble and not posting for now...

Huge crowd at the B&B; in Boardman Ohio last night and what a beautiful and fun night it was at this large outdoor theater.
I think that the first song was Long Way To Go, but I could be wrong. Here is the rest but not in exact order.
Strange Days Pumping Iron Lucky Man Labor Of Love Never Be Enough Time w/ Johnny G No Strings Attached All Along The Watchtower, rocked with Rob James of the Clarks on guitar Homestead, Joe mentioned that he played that the night before with Bruce at the Pete. Code Of Silence Rebel Music Down The Road A Piece, double extended version, crowd on their feet, new exit for the band, reportedly started in Spain, Joe leaves first, then Marc, Little Joe, Bill and then a nice rhythm section trio jam of Bernie, Art and Joffo, then Bernie and Art head off stage leaving Joffo drumming by himself til the last beat. Really cool and it worked. The band was on and very animated last night. It's like Spain gave them a huge energy jolt or something. Or maybe it was our visiting friends from Spain who continue to inspire them. It's always good to see the Houserockers live.
Of course the Clarks were great also, got to hear my favorite song live, On Saturday. Great night.

'For You' (on piano) dedicated to his friend Johnny and 'All I'm Thinking About' dedicated to Desi...thought that very nice.
Wish I could remember more of Bruce's intro before Joe came out...someone else will have to help with that. Very nice acoustic guitar Joe was playing, since I've not seen it before thought it might be Bruce's.
Joe looked and sounded good, came out towards the end of the set to do 'Homestead' with Bruce. While I like the song alot and it fit the theme of the evening, I would have preferred to hear any other of the Joe/Bruce penned tunes especially since they do that one together often. They also performed it together at the Ghost Of Tom Joad show in '96 at the Benedum and recently at Flood Aid.
Most of the HRers, including Brian C and his lovely wife were sitting in the row directly behind me enjoying the show.
Great show and always nice to see Joe up on the big stage.
