The guestbook should be functioning again, we were having technical problems on the server.
Sorry for the problems this week, we should be OK now.
I reloaded most/all of the history.

Joe, Just listened to Lake Pontchartrain ... great song for such a sad situation. Thanks for putting your thoughts and feelings into music and creating such a great song to share with everyone! 3 October 2005 - Philly

Joe:
Just finished listening to Lake Pontchartrain, thanks for sharing it. It is wonderfully written. Perhaps you will perform it at the Rahway show on November 19th. Already have our tickets and look forward to seeing you and the HR's again.

Is "One Chance" on any CD or record? Was this a single only? Can anyone help me with this? It's really a great tune, and I was searching the internet for it.

There is a new entry on the blog. The dvd of 5Alive in Spain is at the manufacturer’s and we are putting the finishing touchs to the artwork for “Demos and Outakes” which will be a 30 song double cd. ( In answer to Keith’s question on the guest book) I have been listening to a lot of different things lately. I got into some British invasion. My friend Gary sent me a Dave Clark 5 cd. Dave Clark was a very smart business man who owns his recording masters ( a rarity believe me) The greatest hits cd has been out of circulation for years. The old hits SOUND terrific. Great production and playing. I am also listening to a lot of old R&B; and blues including the old obscure Pittsburgh Sound. There are a lot of great new bands that Johnny has turned me onto: Starting Line,The Format, Dashboard Confessional, Brand New,Taking Back Sunday, Thursday, and Something Corporate are my favorites so far. All the bands are great live. The future looks good. My favorite Pittsburgh band is The Berlin Project. I am writing again. I got a new one called “Lake Pontchartrain.” It’s a very pissed of song about the New Orleans Flood. Hope to have it recorded very soon. You guys are missing some great shows at the Hard Rock’s Songwriters in the Round series.

for anyone interested in the Saturday November 19 show, "Jersey Shore Reunion 2005", I can tell you that this venue is a beautifully restored theater. Don't let the name Union County Arts Center fool you (see webpage link). Great opportunity for north Jersey/New York folks to see the Houserockers in an awesome venue. Get yourself some fantastic seats while this show is still flying under the radar.
