We were among the hardy few who braved the chill Sunday afternoon for the hurricane benefit at Hartwood Acres, and we were glad we did. The Gospel Lights were amazing, and Joe and the Houserockers sounded terrific -- as was case at the freebie/kid-friendly Northway Mall show, I have to say the guys sound as good now as they ever have (which is really saying something). Both our girls, ages 3 and 16 months, danced like banshees (hey, that must be something genetic) and had a total blast at their second Houserockers show. Today when I came home from work the older one declared, "Joe Grushecky was my favorite one of the whole day!"
