Joe, thanks for the info and I believe you're right about the release date. Either way, time is running out for a 25th anniversary tribute to that GREAT album! Since there is apparantly no website for Moondog's, any info on the 'Decade Reunion' show? Gotta figure out which show I'll be able to attend!

At the Hard Rock on Thursday: Hard Rain at 8:30 followed by the Houserockers at 9:30 Donnie Iriis, BE Taylor, Rick Witkowski, Jeff Garrison, and Hermie Granati have graciously volunteered their talents for this worthy cause and will close out the nite. Joe G and the Houserockers will perform at the Decade reunion show at Moondog's on Sat nite after Thanksgiving. We would be glad to do " Have a Good Time " in its entirty at the Hard Rock altho it came out in May of 1980 if my memory still serves me.

Does anyone know what the itenerary is for the Epilepsy Awareness show this Thursday (Is Joe headlining with assorted guests or does everybody do a short set with the obligatory Pittsburgh All-Star jam to close the show?) Also, isn't December 16th on, or about the exact 25th anniversary of the release of 'Have A Good Time.' and if so, is there anything special planned for the show that night at the Hardrock? (like playing the entire album LIVE!!!)

Three questions/thoughts: A) Could have sworn I saw a picture this week of some trad music/jug band (in City Paper?) -- and though the band members were not identified, one looked like our fave attorney Marc R. Was I seeing things? If not, what's the name of the band again, and what's their story? (Sorry if this is old news here.) B) Are Joe and the boys playing at that Decade Reunion coming up over Thanksgiving at Moondog's? Does anyone know who is playing? Does anyone know if Moondog's has a website (and if not, why not), or an e-mail mailing list? C) It's predictable, I know, but my fave Houserockers disc is Have a Good Time. First because it flat out snarls and crackles like the best punk rock of that day, and second because it's the ultimate, and easiest, intro to Joe's music: All I have to do is play it for anyone who doesn't know Joe, and they get it. Like others here I also treasure Love's So Tough and the live Houserockers disc, and one of my "when I win the Lotto" fantasies is to be able to pay for the recording of a live version of "Rock and Real," a batch of songwriting that stands right up there with the best of anyone's work.
