I didn't think that 'Blondie' had anything at all to do with Debbie Harry. I'm so partial to the original version of that song, a slower bluesy version. It's on the flip of a HR 45 that I have. Glad to see it make the demo CD. Hoping that 'American Son' is the original version too, I always enjoyed it much more than the recorded one. I too, have a copy of the 12" LST but admit to never playing it. A friend of mine played his but I was too afraid that something would happen to mine so never tried it. Blood on the Bricks is my favorite ICHR CD but as Hank mentioned I prefer any full show bootleg because the live show is 'where it's at' for me. Bonnie Raitt or Susan Tedeschi, both guitarists might be a good match for Joe. I prefer him with the current band though. I could live without another version of 'That's All I Ask of You' since I'm not big on the song and it's so current. Would have loved a tune with Jimmy King on harp or the original version of 'Never Be Enough Time' the one performed live before 'Cracking' was released. Maybe the next volume. Thanks for releasing this stuff Joe, always look forward to the rare stuff ;-)

Q: What's the scoop for this Saturday at Moondog's? Will the Houserockers be doing a set? Coming in for the weekend and plan to be there. Who else is there? And regarding the duet, what about doing the song "Blondie" with the original (Debbie Harry)? Saw them not too long ago and she still rocks! Wasn't the song about her anyway?

Duet with a female? I would choose either Nora Jones (saw her do some nice ones with Keith Richards and Steve Earle), or Sara Dash. If you want blues, that would be a winning combination.

Keith--a nice topic. I think Melissa Etheridge and Joe could be interesting but sometimes when i think of Joe and his blues side, someone like Etta James really intrigues me.

Can't wait to get the new out-takes and demos CD!! In the meantime, how about another fan input question. . . What female artist would you most like to see Joe do a duet with? My choice would be Stevie Nicks! What does everybody else think? Happy Thanksgiving!

To add to the post of Maria Maria, Susan, and Terry - nice to see Adam & Lynn and Rich & Liz & friends who all came from the Philadelphia area for the Rahway show. Bill Chinnock's and the Houserockers' set were great but short. Enjoyed Joffo's drum ending to 'Hideaway' and the 'Junior's Bar extended Bernie Herr version; 'Long Way To Go' was for Joe C. Happy Thanksgiving to all!
