Still chopping up this rant .
PART 3: I’m telling you, when Guterman finally gets this project released, this song will change the way that some people think of the Houserockers. Locals who think Joe only covers old classic rock warhorses like Brown-Eyed Girl and Mustang Sally should prepare to have their minds scrambled. Hey – speaking of which: Has the band ever played this one live yet? And if not, how about a first-time outing at the January Rhythm House show?

PART 4: And finally, let me wrap up this ridiculously long post with a quote about Joe from Jimmy Guterman, found on the Sandinista project’s web site: “There's a good piece on CNN (about Joe) that labels him Rock's Best-Kept Secret. Do what you can to put a stop to that, OK? His audience should reflect the breadth and depth of his many talents.” We couldn’t have said it better, eh guys? Now, this message board doesn't take URLs, so I can't post the address for the mp3. Just do a Google search for Guterman and Sandinista, then scroll way down to his 2004 posts to get the mp3. And, um, sorry again if this looong post is old news to everyone but me.

Dateline!
I heard "Run, Run Rudolph" on 3WS, tuned into WYEP and heard "She's a big Girl Now", then the next day, heard "Pumping Iron" on DVE. It's great that the locals are finally catching on to Pittsburgh's Greatest Rock and Roll Band. Finally!!

LOL. Joe of course. Didn't think he needed mentioned. He does play a mean guitar, hence the two guitars jamming that the fan before mentioned. Even though the box of the DVD lists Marc Reisman, he unfortunately is not in this DVD. I don't believe he came back to the band after a hiatus until 99-2000 ish.

You Gena
Don't forget the leader of them all Mr. Joe Grushecky himself on lead vocals and guitar
