Very good article in the new Backstreets Magazine, " Joe G re-teams with Bruce for latest LP, Life's Been Good". Interesting, in-depth article and interview about the song writing for 'A Good Life' CD. Also some excellent photos from Light of Day 7 by Mark R Sullivan et al.

Thanks Lynn and Zeke for posting setlists ... maybe we'll get "The Other Shoe" at the Wonder Bar .... please?

Sorry this is late.

Nice crowd in a weird building. A bit out there from the city. It took us 30 minutes to get there from the Northside.

Here's a concert preview about Saturday's appearance at the Tin Angel from the Philadelphia Inquirer written by Nick Cristiano:
Joe Grushecky & the Houserockers
Last time he was in town, in February, Joe Grushecky performed solo. But this underappreciated Pittsburgh rocker is most at home fronting a band, and in the Houserockers he has a mighty fine one. They live up to their name with a muscular, no-frills sound that comes with occasional R&B; and soul tinges - in other words, it's bar-band rock at its best. But it's also the kind of music that gets Grushecky unfairly tagged as a Bruce Springsteen knockoff, when in fact, the teacher and rock lifer has a compelling and inspirational everyman voice of his own. He's also the subject of a forthcoming documentary, Joe Grushecky: A Good Life, that aims to drive home that point.
