Dave O. just sounds like a frustrated athlete. Probably couldn't hack little league or something.

RE: Dave O - Championship Sports Teams brings the community together, similar to a tribal event. People talking about football, whereas other times they would just pass each other without a nod. In the gloomy days of January, It's good for the moral of the City and suburbs. As for unemployment.talk to yor buddy George W.

Im just stating the facts, if your not betting on the sport why even care. Time to grow up you bunch of Homers, especially you Sinclair. What the hell is Pittsburgh known for Unemployment???

fan of live recordings
there's an audience recording on dimeadozen dot org, Joe and the boys in Somma Lombardo Italy. Not the great sound quality like Five Alive In Spain CD but setlist includes What Gives, Rock N Real, Pumpin Iron (the power failure version). Nothing can stop this band.

The news of Mario's retirement shouldn't come as a suprise, but it's still hard to accept as a Pens fan. Hopefully the team will stay and one day maybe we'll be talking about Crosby the same way, but I'm not sure "the kid" can ever live up to those lofty expectations. If you're a sports fan from the 'burgh (and who isn't?), you really have to appreciate how fortunate we've been to grow up watching and cheering for the GREAT sports teams and athletes that have graced our fair city during the last 30+ years(Beginning, for me at least, with the '71 Pirates). It sort of also makes me think of how fortunate I was to be following the Pittsburgh music scene starting in the late 70's and early 80's and continuing through to today. The Houserockers, Donnie Iris, Norm Nardini, The Silencers, B E Taylor, G-Force and even The Clarks! What a GREAT city and time to be a sports fan as well as a fan of the local music scene!!! (But it just won't be the same without SUPER MARIO!)

Dave O, If you’re from Irwin, you’re one of US man! We’re here to help you… What ever insecurities you’re dealing with man, let it come out! If this forum helps you, let it out. Don’t hold back the tears man! If you’re not from Irwin, then why the hell did you come to Western PA to live with all of the two digit IQ Homers? Are the cognitive disability or welfare payments better in PA?
