The Youngstown Vindicator published the article on Joe Grushecky that appeared in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette about a week ago. It made page two of today's local section.

What a great weekend. Got to spend Sunday with my 5-yr old son watching the Super Bowl. Being the Steelers first SB win of my adult life, it was great to be able to watch it with my son, who is really getting into sports now. And the Steelers are definitely worthy Super Bowl Champions! Add in the fact that the Stones flat out ROCKED, and it was a stellar weekend.

I was listening to 'Shot of Salvation' on WYPE around 4:00 Monday afternoon and the announcer commented on how great of a performance that Joe and Marc did at the 'welcome weekend' on Saturday . . I totally agree with them

Great show Joe and Marc on WYEP. Wish I was there but listening via internet was the next best thing (almost).

VEGAS BABY!!!! Put 100 dollars on the Steelers not 994 today. I hope to be there. Of course I wake up every day and hope I'm in VEGAS. YEP thing was tre cool tonight. Marc never sounded better (his stuff with Ernie Hawkins was wild), Joe was growling, strumming, joking and rocking. It seemed like it ended 6 minutes after it started not 6 songs. Frankie - driving a hybrid. My man. Steelers 34 - Seagall 13 MVP Willie Parker

Hello all, greetings from Las Vegas, Nevada. What a great time to be a Steeler fan! A victory tomorrow would be the perfect ending to a storied season. Big Ben has become a true Pittsburgher by showing tremendous grit and poise for such a young man. By the way, I am looking forward to the Vegas show. All I need is a date and a time. Anybody who wants room or night life info be sure to email me. Looking forward to seeing Mulk and Zeke and all those other crazy Houserocker fans! Remember guys, I am the younger, sexier Harrison brother!!!! Keep on rockin' in the free world! LVMATTYB

Great thing that internet! A perfect way to start the show playing "Frankie's" song, "Dance With Me."

As an out-of towner, can I just say how great it was to hear Joe and Marc’s acoustic WYEP performance LIVE via the Internet. It’s the next best thing to being there. THANK YOU WYEP for downstreaming! Maria Maria, we’ve never met, but allow me to give you a break and type this setlist. (adds/corrections welcome.) 1) Dance With Me 2) Touch the Rain 3) All I want from You (funny story about how Joe wrote it while being put on long hold during a phone call with his then- record company 4) Long Way to Go 5) The Same Thing (“web request” … Darren’s. Great suggestion) 6) Pumping Iron Marc’s harmonica and Joe's voice & guitar were pitch perfect. I’m interested in what fans think of the acoustic versions of “Long Way to Go” and “Pumping Iron,” which I'm surprised worked very nicely in this quaint setting, but of course are killer when played by the entire band.
