Any word yet on the "guest guitarist" joining the group for the show at the Kean Theatre? Will this be a full two sets, or more like a concert (one set)? I was in Pittsburgh last weekend and took a ride out to see the place, it's a nice place (I was able to peek inside the actual theater). Nobody was available to answer any questions. What about alcohol (will they be serving up some cold Irons at the venue?) Lots of questions, trying to possibly make it in for the show, but a little info would sure be useful. By the way, Zeke, as I've stated here before, I think the "Outtakes" CD is a blast to listen to. Joe had mentioned in a post some time back that there may be more of that sort of thing as well as some unreleased live material from the IC Houserocker days in the future if there was enough demand for it, so I, for one, am "demanding" more! Anyway, if anyone has any info on the Kean theater show, I'd sure like to hear from you. Thanks!

Thursday's show is sold out according to the Hard Rock. I guess I'll go the final Excuses Blues Jam instead. If anyone goes please report back. I'm curious to see what others think about the Outakes CD. The contrast between the first two songs alone is enough to warrant it's release to me.

I just read that Jersey shore band Boccigalupe and the Badboys are releasing a new album titled: Nothing But Trouble. On the album is a song co-written with Joe Grushecky called "Cant Forget About You."

POWERBALL is at $300,000,000.00!!! When I win, I’ll get Joe and other “heartland” groups to play at a little get together. We’ll start with Seger, followed by Petty, John Eddie, Springsteen and finish up with Joe and the Houserockers… We’ll limit the bands to five songs, and let Joe and the boys to play all that they want… I’m having trouble with the venue! The Sagamore Hotel and Sunset Grove burned down, and the Landmark is an apartment house now… So, the Rural Valley Legion Hall? Why not? It’s a go! See you all there!!!

There's a rumor floating around that Bruce Springsteen is going to do a short tour connected to his particiaption to a Pete Seeger Tribute release. Furthermore, it's already been mentioned that Joe Grushecky would be an opening act. Just throwing it out there--i have no inside knowledge. I'm also not trying to spread a wild rumor but i do know that some credible people do believe this Springsteen mini-tour is real possible.
