I think you're right Jimmy and again, I think it's great that Joe's music has sparked interest in the state of the country. That's part of his job as an atist I think. I was just getting a little concerned the lack of talk about Joe and his music not the amount of Political banter.

I think this whole political blog started when Joe mentioned he was "pissed-off" while writing his new material. I just assumed he was "pissed-off" at the state of the Nation, and how "Dubbya" has dragged this great country in the doldrums it is now residing.

Just to clarify what I said. I have no issue whatsoever with people "discussing" their political views. What I was trying to do was spark a little more focus/activity about why we all come here and that is Joe Grushecky's music. Plain and Simple! That is also why I have dedicated a big portion of my life for the last year in making this movie. Joe's story is important and should be told. I can't wait to everyone here gets to hear the new music.I've said it before and I'll continue to say it. It is his best work both musically and lyrically. There are party songs, angry songs and songs about family that will bring a tear to your eye.

In the end, all I am trying to do his stir things up a little bit. It seems since the whole Bill Tomms thing it' has been WAY to quiet around here. With the CD and movie coming later this year I hope that Joe starts geting some well fucking deserved recognition!

Bring Back Grushecky
Hesitant? Every post on here is his answer to someone else's or political in nature. I could care less about his politics--doesn't matter if i agree or not. Steve said it best... where's the focus on Joe G? Start your own blog and do that, some people want to read more about Joe rather than your view on everything. Okay fire away and tell me i'm an idiot and let your cheerleaders support you--it's what you do best.

Mark - Don't be hesitant to voice your opinion. Also, it makes for an interesting forum. I mean, how can you not mix politics with rock-n-roll??
