Talking to the King. A must for any JG Collection!

Keeping in mind time restrictions and sales potential, what 15-16 songs would you pick for a Joe G Essentials cd from "End of the Century" to 'True Companion" ?

I agree with Occasional Visitor. The guestbook draws a ton of interest from all walks of life. The political rants draw alot of response...the forum reveals the eclecticity of HR fans.

Just got my Outtakes CD, been playing it almost nonstop at work. The whole set is wonderful, although I think I like the songs I haven't heard in other forms best, especially Feel Good Tonight, Union Dues, Let It Slide. The personalized thank you stub was a nice effect too and an exciting surprise.

Thank you too Joe!

Face it, this is a great guestbook. Music chat, political banter, agreement, disagreement, insider HR info. Thanks to Shel for maintaining it. But I'd like to read a little more constructive criticism of the music. Someone posted a while back that s/he liked the outtakes cd but didn't need yet another rendition of-- what was the song? I like that honesty. And I love JG, but there's slightly too much Joe ass-kissing here in my view. I'm by no means suggesting we should bust his hardworking balls, I'm just truly interested in what you guys really think about shows, songs, guitar playing, etc... and whether you'd grade 'great' or 'could be better.'

For all of the a-political lemmings, General Hayden is a full blooded yinzer-yunzerÂ… Plus he's quite a Stiller fan!!!

Hey Joe - When are you guys playing again at the Pony or anywhere in Jersey.
We miss you.

I find the political postings boring and full of hot air, just like the politicians themselves. I choose to skip over and avoid reading them - thats my opinion and choice and I'm sure no one cares.

Yes, some of Joe's music has political implications, but not all of it. His music also has messages of family, friends, life, love, rainy days in Pittsburg, etc, etc. Whatever the music is about - its music that gets into the head, heart and soul. The power of music ...

Keep on rock'n Joe ... you still got it!!

Joe, any gigs planned for the jersey shore this summer?
