The Heinz Field and Convention Center shows are both private affairs. We have had a great run of shows. The Wonder Bar was one of the all time best Jersey shows and Canonsburg was unbelievable. It was a real treat to meet and hang with Henry Gross.

Hey Joe -

What is the deal on Wednesday's show at the Convention Center? Is it open to the public?

Thanks!

DoWhopalooza or whatever it was turned out to be another great show. Canansburg showed up in full force. The street was jam packed with enthusiastic fans. No funny stories to relate but Henry Gross, who opened the show with a great acoustic set, was amazing. Some of you might remember his hit "Shannon" from the 70's. I'm not embarrassed to say that Shannon was one of my favorite high school top 40 hits. I was thrilled to tell Henry that in person. Shannon, for trivia sake, was written about Brian Wilson's Dog who had died. I believe it was hit by a car. Sad song that could easily relate to any loved one. Henry was very gracious and truly enjoyed hangin' with us.
Stay tuned. Hope to meet and see more of you.
Peace!

Rock on, Joe! Still pushing my "Blue Collar Steel" song, which will be played on an upcoming segment of Hometown Country on 98.3 FM. It needs a great artist like you to sing it, though, and bring it over the top.

Hey..

Just a couple of notes on the show at the boardwalk.

- I lost the set list

Great versions of Dirty Water, Never Be enough Time, and Gimme Shelter.

No one fell in the river and no bugs attacked. At one point I thought they had, but it was the band checking out the fireworks.

Most importantly Joe mentioned that he is writing for a new cd and it will be with the Houserockers.

Couldn't make tonight but would like to try for Wednesday. What is the deal with that?

I hope the Houserockers will be back sooner than November. The Wonder Bar was a great show & venue.

Great weekend of rock and roll. The Ligonier Theater was a cool setting for a summer concert and hanging with friends and fans afterwards at the Tavern was awesome.
What can you say about Asbury Park and Jersey. We had a packed house with a very enthusiastic crowd. I actually was so into it that I jumped into the crowd for an impromtu dance with Mrs.G. Thanks!
Thanks to the two great opening acts. Alex Scuby (from King of Queens) did a great last minute acoustic set since his band broke up the night before. He had some funny Jerry Stiller stories.
It was a great night to all who attended Thanks to the Wonder Bar;Debbie and the staff and to Tony P for bringing us down. And always to Bocci-you rock, dude. See you in November.

Heard "Veronica" on 91.9 on July 1 @ 4:50 a.m. while on our way to Ocean City - got to hear the whole song before the station faded as we were traveling up the summit just miles from the Stone House! Great way to start our vacation!
