Just saw Adam's request asking for best song. We need suggestions for a Houserocker fast dance song to be played at our niece's wedding..one song ... one chance...to get everyone up to dance or keep them dancing!! I was leaning towards 'Pumpin Iron','No Strings Attached' or 'Dance with Me'. Any and all suggestions would be apprecitated. Thanks!!

Back in the day, we always enjoyed dancing to the one-two punch of Little Marie and Ain't Going Down on the crowded "dancefloor" of the Decade or maybe at Sunny Jim's!

Joe Grushecky and the Houserockers Augies Bar Dance with me Everything's gonna work out You and tonight Luckyman Gimme shelter Chain smoking Some kind of wonderful Hideaway (great drum solo) Junior's Bar (Julie is now a grandmother) halftime True companion Long way to go Strange days (very loose) Pumping iron Mustang sally (w/ Jill Simmons. Joe invited someone else on stage to sing but she chickened out) All I want from you (sensitive moment) I remember it Let it bleed (2 killer piano solos) Talking to the king w/Johnny G Love is so tough w/jg Shape I'm in w/jg ("Johnny told me to stop singing about how my life is with acoustic guitars") Code of silence Turn it up (by request, very long version) Down the road (featured an extended version of wipeout during Joffo's intro) Notes - of course I got lost - first set was a guess by Jack and Kathy and Tom and Lisa as I was tardy - I also lost about ten pounds in sweat during the second set - cover $7.00 - Miller Lite 2.75 - All you can eat steak and crab legs 17.95 (missed that) - shoving match broke out during DTRAP - Condoms (lubricated)in machine in lady's room $1.00 - nice size crowd - got home in 25 minutes (Washington is closer than I thought) - Joe's guitar solo during Turn it up was intense - No MR, esq.

Hey Zeke - we're going to Auggie's; dropping the kids off and coming out for a (rare) middle of the week night out. See you there? We were there the last time Joe played there, although I don't remember much about the place.
