Wow, finally, a kick ass Hard Rock show WITHOUT the artificially created Bruce buzz. The only buzz in the room was that generated by a man on a mission...a mission to prove that it's never too late to add a great chapter to a Good Life...and his friends who came to help spread the word.
Great set list, great performances all around, and an atmosphere of love, respect, and admiration from and for a man who quite obviously still has "it"

- No clue on attendance but it was packed. WAY packed
- The show started out with the 4 piece of Joe, Rick W., Jeff G. and Joffo
- Little Joe joined in on Everything and then came and went too often to recall.
- Margot B. reprised her part from the cd on Too Hot
- Randy Bauman played keys on Good Life and Safe at Home
- Johhny G. was up on guitar sporadically too. He played drums on Is She the One.
- Danny played acoustic on Safe at Home and electric for most of the encores.
- Songs from Good Life 9 (Lake P. Nothing w/o You, Father and Son and Other Shoe not played)
- Songs from Fingerprints 5
- Songs from IC Houserockers 1
- Pumping Iron played for Mother G who showed her approval by dancing.

It was probably a sellout last night. Joe played new songs and songs from Fingerprints. The highlight for me was the slide on Easy Money. Joffo, Joe Pelesky, and the new guy were the only Houserockers on stage. Rick W. and Jeff Garrison jammed along with JG and some musicians I never saw before. Bruce came in a long white limo but he mostly tended bar for a couple hours then raided the tip jar and left after droping and breaking a couple wine glasses.

Very cool show tonight. I loved the one-two punch of Good Life and Code. And kudos to Rick for that great swampy slide guitar on Easy Money.

I experience the same anticipation and excitement for a Joey G CD release gig as I did as a child the night before Christmas or Kennywood day.
I was supposed to fly to Los Angeles with some colleagues today, however I've deferred my flight to early Sunday. They think I'm crazy picking a night in the 'Burgh over California. Some people just don't get it:) Cali can wait. Can't wait to hear the live interpretation of this new material. This is going to be great! See everyone at the Hard Rock. All the best Joe!!!
