Sounds like Toronto was fun. I saw Joe's mom on Saturday, and she mentioned something about the band getting hung up on the border. Joe, tell your mom I said the Apple Cake was marvelous!

I want to say thank you for coming up here and playing the Cadillac. Buddy, Friday night was the single best night that I have ever spent
in a bar, and let me tell you chum, there have been a few. I've been hearing about you for years, because of that guitar player from Jersey, and I can honestly say, you lived up to my expectations.
I hope that you come back. The next time you play here, I'm bringing 50 people with me.
Toronto is your kind of place. The Caddy can become your northern home.

The opening act was Michael Brennan who kicked ass with his Rockabilly style and Roy Orbison voice.. many locals were familiar with his music...which opened them up to a party when Joey G and the boys hit the stage around midnight.. exhausted after a 4 hr delay at the border.. but they let em in.. Sammy was the owner of the fine establishment with the decade style bar setting reminiscent of the good ole days.. The house was packed and Sammy greeted us all with a warm Toronto welcome.. even a sammich was named in Joe's honor, The Pittsburgh Houserocker, corned beef, fried egg, tomato, coleslaw and french fries on texas toast served with mashed potatoes and gravy, along with a free beer ticket given at the door.. Jamie now living in Toronto attended the show and a native of Charleroi who grew up listening to the Houserockers as her parents were fans. The show was one NOT to be forgotten, and left everyone singing and dancing as the walked out the door to freezing cold Toronto weather..The house was buzzing with Joey G questions and comments.. the show stopping song that left quite a few with HOLY S**T comments was yea.. you guess it.. Easy Money!!!! You boys rocked that song.. Ricky W. you are an outstanding musician and GREAT guy.. We all made it home safe and sound and we got across the border with no problems guess they wanted Joey G back..
