The Iota was as cozy as ever. Many of the people there seemed to be transplants
From western PA. The guys really rocked.
Two Quotes 1) “Shit, those guys are good!”
2) “ Those old guys can really rock!”

Good luck in DC tonight at the Iota. Well wishes to Joffo, don't laugh tooo much or you won't be able to talk for turkey day. WYEP played "I was nothing without you" today at 11:30. Can't wait for the WDVE XMAS show at Diesel! Maybe Ben will show up again this year.

The Tommorrow Club was a great venue. It eventually become the Agora in the late 70's and than went bankrupt. The building remains vacant today. I wish I could have seen the ICHR there. A while back I found an out of print Mink DeVille cd. It's the one with "A" Train Lady.

In a non-Joe related matter, some of us are hoping for an Ohio State vs. Rutgers Fiesta Bowl. No doubt the Buckeyes would win their second national championship under Coach Tressel.

The trip to Toronto was an epic adventure. I have to say that the Caddy Lounge is the coolest joint I've played at in quite some time. Great food and beer, beautiful girls, and a definite "we're here for the music vibe." Hats off to Sam and a big thanks to Jamie C. I've been listening to Mink (Willie) DeVille's first two lps this week. Unfortunately out of print but worth picking up as an import. They came out of the same CBGB/NY scene as Blondy. Talking Heads. etc. but was too bluesy and rootsy to be considered hip. For my money Willie is one of the all time great singers. Art and I saw them way back when at the Tomorrow Club in Youngstown. ACDC were the opener on one of their first US dates. What a nite that was. See ya in DC
