NATIONAL PUBLIC RADIO taped an interview and song segment last week of Joe Grushecky. This interview will air on Friday DEC 1, at 6:45 & 8:45 on the MORNING EDITION. The local station that brings NPR is WDUQ-FM 90.5. This interview will go across the USA to hundred of radio stations. This is very exciting for Joe to get this much exposure. You can also go to NPR's website and find the radio station in your area that runs the Morning Edition. There will be a link to Joe's site on their website too. Check it out!

In a perfect world, Grushecky would be a superstar. Some 30 years ago, the Pittsburgh native fronted the Iron City Houserockers, cranking out meat-and-potatoes rock in a Springsteen vein. And his pal the Boss lends his vocal and guitar to this winning CD. For the first time, Grushecky's ballads are as good as his rockers.
