Bill and Phil Brontz will
be touring in Italy during the first couple of weeks in
September. The Italian band
Lorenzo Bertuchini and Apple
Pirates are going to learn some of Bill's
songs and play together with them during the trip.

TO NYC
 A
bus trip to New York City has been planned for
May 6. Bill Toms and Hard Rain will be playing
Kenny's Castaways in Greenwich Village on May 6.
The bus will leave 11pm , May 5 and travel all night
(you can sleep), spend the day in NYC , see the show at
Kenny's.
The
bus will pick everyone up around 1am after the show. The
cost is $100 a person and includes the tickets to the
Hard Rain show. For more information and to reserve a
spot (there will be a $50 deposit) contact Maria

Bill
Toms and Hard Rain's "The West End Kid" CD will
be released nationally on Feb. 7th. Bill will be
touring the Northeast as a solo and also with the band.
The official start of The "West End Kid First Round
Tour" starts March 3 with a full band show at
The Hard Rock in Pittsburgh.
Please tell a friend to get out to their favorite FYE,
Wal-Mart, Borders, or local record store and pick
up a copy of "The West End Kid". You can also
purchase the CD on Amazon.com.

I've written
about these guys before, but if you're looking
for some entertainment on a Saturday
afternoon, they're your men.
They're
Bill Toms and
Tom Breiding. Tom plays guitar in Bill's
band, Hard Rain. And for good measure, Bill
has been playing with
Joe Grushecky & the Houserockers for a
couple of decades, and Tom also has his own
band, American Son.
Their regular Saturday gig is from noon to 3
at Leaf & Bean, at 22nd and Penn in the Strip
District. They bring along a couple of
acoustic guitars - Bill his Takamine and Tom
his Alvarez Yairi - and spend the afternoon
playing and singing their own well-written
material.
