Here is our first ever
official DVD recorded by our
good friend Sal Trepat’s crew from Good Sounds Records
at the Privat Club in Matero’ Spain. In the spring of
1998, in the middle of our first ever European tour,
The Houserockers played the Tombtone Club in the town
of Terrassa just outside of Barcelona. Now Keith
Richards and George Burns, not as odd a couple as you
might think, have both said that a performer is only
as good as his audience. Well that night we had the
best audience in the world. We were completely
overwhelmed by the energy, enthusiam, and passion of
the Spanish fans.
That is how the Houserockers’ love affair with Spain
began. We have returned there as often as we are able
and have forged a special bond with our Spanish
friends. This is a show recorded in 2004. We are
releasing this DVD as it was played that night. There
are no fixes, no overdubs, and no cleaning up
mistakes.
We have edited some of the dead space between songs.
So break open a bottle of tequila, turn up the heat,
